Fizz, Boom, Amaze! MOST brings science to area libraries
Monday, July 28, 2014

11:00 - 2:45

Have you ever wondered what makes Pop Rocks explode and soda fizz? This summer, the Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science & Technology will answer those questions and more by conducting a series of experiments at Onondaga County Public Libraries in conjunction with OCPL's summer reading program for pre-teens and younger children, Fizz, Boom, Read.

During the MOST's Fizz, Boom, Amaze! 45-minute science program, educators will present up to a dozen experiments -- many that can be duplicated at home with household products -- that may fizz or boom, and definitely will amaze.

The program will be offered at 11 a.m. July 28 at Tully Free Library, 12 State St., Tully; and 2 p.m. July 28 at Baldwinsville Public Library, 33 E. Genesee St., Baldwinsville.
