KeyBank Future Innovators—National Grid
Join us for a morning with National Grid to learn about energy transmission and sustainability, see the types of careers available, and engage in hands-on learning with a National Grid line truck and a FLISR circuit board demo.
KeyBank Future Innovators, is a program designed to connect Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) students with skill-based science learning opportunities as well as support and mentorship from scientists and professionals of color in the CNY community. During these monthly skill-based sessions, MOST staff along with a diverse group of local BIPOC STEAM practitioners will guide students in grades 6-9 through an exciting STEAM curriculum that includes hands-on activities, career exploration, engineering challenges, and more.
Light snacks and FREE admission to the MOST (student and their family) will be provided.
DATE/TIME: All programs take place from 10:00–11:00 AM at the MOST.
